Australian cricket’s explosive all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has announced his retirement from One Day Internationals (ODIs) after a career spanning over 13 years. Maxwell, 36, made the decision to step away from the 50-over format to focus on T20 cricket, especially with the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup on the horizon.
“I felt like I was letting the team down a bit. My body just couldn’t keep up in ODIs,” Maxwell said.
