Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again found himself at the center of a security scare after receiving a fresh death threat via WhatsApp. The message was reportedly sent to the official number of the Mumbai Transport Department on Monday, April 14, 2025, and included chilling warnings about an attack at his residence and a bomb targeting his vehicle.
According to police sources, the Worli Police have registered a case and launched a full-scale investigation to trace the origin of the threat. This latest incident adds to a series of threats the 59-year-old actor has received over recent years.
The threats are believed to be connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has been targeting the actor due to his alleged involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.
In 2024, the Bishnoi gang reportedly issued an ultimatum demanding that Khan either visit a temple and issue a public apology or pay Rs 5 crore. Later that year, on October 30, another threat surfaced—this time with a ransom demand of Rs 2 crore.
That same year, two unidentified individuals attempted to trespass onto Khan’s Panvel farmhouse using forged IDs. In 2023, the actor received a threatening email allegedly from gangster Goldy Brar, and in 2022, a threatening letter was discovered on a bench near his Bandra residence. In light of these repeated threats, the actor’s security has been significantly tightened.
As investigations continue, the Mumbai Police remain on high alert, and Salman Khan’s security has once again been elevated in response to the latest threat.
